Nature can be generous for rains and at warm times it covers the ground with dew, feeding plants and small insects. But sometimes it is time of drought. At such times you can sit and wait for the mercy of nature, or you can, as is done in this cartoon by insects and a frog, build a system capable of saving all living things around.

Fragments of memories are brought to the surface by the Blue Danube Waltz, revealing the lesser-known history of the Danube – the Black Sea Canal. While borders between filmmaker and actress become blurry, languages and layers of the past intertwine. „I don’t know my name. I don’t know my origins. I only have memories of a place. But I don’t know if I ever was there.” Where? Along the course of the Danube in Strauss the Younger’s famous waltz. From Germany, where the actress’ great-grandfather survived the Second World War only to later live in Eastern Berlin, to Romania, to the Danube-Black Sea Canal, where the filmmaker’s great-grandfather was part of the political prisoners subjected to hard labor by the communist regime. Starting from a beloved cliché, “The Blue Danube”, Teona Galgoțiu’s film proposes an anguishing but beautiful exercise of alienation against the great imagined common histories – including cinematic ones – championing, instead, everything that is most immediate in a human connection: touch, play, confession. The film is about half-documentary, half-comedy about a kid who is thought to be the top snowboarder in the world until the day he gets put in jail. When released, he's picked up by all the other top snowboarders in the world in a party van, and to celebrate, they all go up the mountain the van for a snowboard party. All of the snowboarders in the film are real people and the story is semi-true.

A perverted story about two men who work as photographers. for them, the chemistry displayed by their models will never be complete without fucking them first. They then change professions to become innkeepers in a mountain hike. Instead of helping climbers in distress, they fuck them again.
